The Young Creators programme is being developed for children and teenagers, with age-based groups across art, writing, design and invention.
What did the young person want to express? What did they try, and how did they bring that step to completion? Recognition at the right stage should leave room for the next creation.
Entry arrangements will be designed for parents, guardians and participating institutions. Publication of a young person’s work will be handled separately from submission.

Young Creators: serious about beginnings
A young person’s work should be understood at the right stage. Parents, guardians and institutions can help explain context without taking over the child’s contribution.
Model and invention
A model may show an idea, a trial and an observed result; those stages should be named honestly.
Support and contribution
Adults can help organise materials. Explain what the young creator decided or made themselves.
Privacy and publication
Reviewing a work and showing it publicly are separate choices. Do not assume a child’s details or work will be published.
Current status: no open call, fee or timetable has been published. Read the preparation guidance now; an open call will state the terms that actually apply.
